Yankee Magazine Editors' Choice Food Awards

Our RICOTTA ALTA was recently published in the November/December 2013 issue of Yankee Magazine, as a winner in the Editors' Choice Food Awards. We are honored to have been recognized by such a distinguished publication, along with 29 other favorite artisinal New England food products receiving the award. Yankee commented that "This premium product... is the creamiest, lightest ricotta we've had, this side of Italy.  There's no grainy unpleasantness- just fluffy piles of remarkably smooth goodness." We wholeheartedly agree! To read the full article, please click HERE

We've Launched a New Product! Ricotta Alta

We are proud to announce that we have launched a new product, RICOTTA ALTA! This is a premium ricotta made with whole milk from the cows grazing in the Green Mountains of Vermont. As the ricotta cooks, cheesemakers hand dip the cheese off the very first rise in the kettle, and then pour it into baskets where it drains. This hands on process yields an incredibly smooth and creamy ricotta, perfect for baking, cooking, or simply spreading on crusty bread. The basket is packaged in a convenient container and then inverted for serving, revealing an attractive design; perfect for entertaining! We are offering the Ricotta Alta in two sizes: 13oz retail baskets, and 4.5lb bulk baskets. Email us for more information!
